He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Cope Whaley; his parents, the late Deacon James Whaley and Deaconess Elizabeth Judge Whaley; two brothers, James Whaley, Jr., Raymond Rodney Whaley; two sisters, Joyce Jeanette and Helen Elizabeth Whaley Code, and all other relatives are invited to attend his Home going Service on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, 11:00 at Ebenezer AME Church, Charleston. Viewing and visitation will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the church. Interment: Hill Crest Cemetery, Summerville. Service has been arranged by AIKEN CAPERS FUNERAL HOME.

Linda Lee Twyman, 68, a 38-year resident of Newburgh, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. She was 68.

The daughter of Ethel Mae Singleton Pinckney and the late John H. Pinckney, she was born May 28, 1949 in Ridgeville, SC.

She was a retired security officer and member of Majestic Club of Newburgh.

Pinckney Twyman of Newburgh, New York and those of her husband, Mr. Raymond Twyman, those of her parents, Mrs. Ethel Mae Singleton Pinckney and the late Mr. John H.
